Speechify is looking for a Team Lead to guide the Android Core Product team. In this remote role, you will own major features from start to finish and maintain reliability for key features. You will also review pull requests, unblock team members, and run planning sessions to keep the team focused.

What you will do

Own major features end to end
Maintain reliability metrics for key features
Review pull requests and give constructive feedback
Unblock team members when stuck
Run planning to focus team attention
Handle critical issues and feature releases

What you bring

5+ years software engineering experience
Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture
Experience with background audio or long-running background work
Understanding of testing approaches
Product design intuition and user empathy
Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

Open source Android projects
Experience with iOS, Web, or NodeJS
