Lobster DATA GmbH is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team in Tutzing. You will work on both backend and frontend development, using Python and Angular to build scalable microservices and modern web applications. The role involves designing RESTful APIs, maintaining containerized services on AWS, and contributing to technology choices.
What you will do
- Further develop the backend in Python: data model, business logic, validation, migrations, automated tests
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs
- Define and implement scalable microservices
- Build the Angular frontend based on the API: components, state, routing, tests
- Operate and maintain services: containerized, stateless on AWS, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting
- Evaluate and select tools and technologies
What you bring
- About 3–5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer with Python as main language
- Experience with a web framework like FastAPI and relational databases (schema design, ORM like SQLAlchemy, migrations)
- Practical async Python (asyncio)
- Angular and TypeScript in the frontend
- DevOps mindset: built and operated services yourself
- AWS experience: compute, networking, storage, identity
Nice to have
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions or similar
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting yourself
- Serverless patterns alongside long-running services
- Basic knowledge of Docker and stateless services
- German language skills
