About the job

As Data Engineering & Platforms Lead at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, you will guide the chapter that builds and runs the data and AI foundation. You own the end-to-end solution architecture, define standards, and drive platform reliability and innovation.

What you will do

  • Lead and develop the Data Engineering & Platform chapter
  • Define engineering and architecture standards for Data & AI
  • Own end-to-end solution architecture across the Data & AI stack
  • Lead development and operation of data pipelines and SAP integrations
  • Drive platform reliability, security, DevOps and MLOps capabilities
  • Manage platform costs, vendor relationships and technology roadmaps

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Extensive experience in data engineering, platform engineering or solution architecture
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Databricks, SAP integration and cloud-native data architectures
  • Strong experience with SQL, Python, Spark, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps and platform automation
  • Proven experience defining architecture standards and translating technical decisions into business value
  • Strong understanding of MLOps, AI platform operations, cloud security, governance, cost management and compliance
