About the job
As Supervisor Traffic at Bertelsmann-Jobs in Venlo, you coordinate daily outbound transport planning and lead team meetings to ensure KPIs are met. You manage carriers, resolve escalations, and monitor performance to improve efficiency.
What you will do
- Coordinate daily outbound transport planning and ensure KPIs and service levels are achieved
- Lead daily meetings with team to review planning, priorities, and staffing needs
- Manage and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor transport flows and adjust planning throughout the day when needed
- Resolve escalations such as delays, shipment issues, and other operational challenges
- Monitor transport performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and costs
What you bring
- MBO/HBO working and thinking level
- Experience in transport, traffic, or logistics coordination
- Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role
- Knowledge of Excel and ERP/TMS systems, preferably SAP
- Good command of the English language
- Full-time availability and willingness to work shifts
