Lely is looking for a Senior Machine Vision Engineer to strengthen the software foundations of their Lely Zeta system. In this role, you will focus on computer vision and embedded systems, integrating software with hardware and translating prototypes into reliable products. You will work in an international environment that values collaboration and innovation.

Develop and strengthen software foundations for Lely Zeta with focus on computer vision and embedded systems
Integrate computer vision software and optimize performance within hardware constraints
Translate prototypes into reliable product functionality and test in farm environment
Make technical decisions focused on quality, stability and maintainability
Share expertise and support colleagues with technical challenges
Maintain end-to-end system overview, set technical direction and communicate to team

Extensive hands-on experience in software engineering for embedded systems
Practical experience with computer vision
Experience integrating computer vision software with hardware and optimizing within constraints
Ability to translate prototypes into reliable production software
Experience with Linux, C++, Python, ONNX, PyTorch, GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, SQL and ROS2
