Over de functie

Compliance Champs is looking for a Medior FEC Consultant to strengthen their team in Rotterdam. In this role, you will lead deep-dive investigations into high-risk client profiles and complex transaction patterns, while also guiding junior analysts and translating AML/CTF and Sanctions regulations into practical steps. You will act as a key point of contact for project leads and contribute to improving monitoring processes.

  • Lead and execute deep-dive investigations into high-risk client profiles and intricate transaction patterns
  • Act as a first-line reviewer for dossiers completed by junior analysts, providing constructive feedback
  • Translate complex AML/CTF (Wwft) and Sanctions regulations into practical operational steps
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks in automated monitoring systems or manual investigation processes and propose improvements
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project leads, reporting on progress and defending findings in compliance meetings

Wat je meebrengt

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in law, criminology, business administration, or economics
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in FEC and/or transaction monitoring
  • Knowledge of essential laws and regulations (Wwft, Wft, Sanctions Act, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze transactions, complex organizational structures, and annual reports
  • Fluent in Dutch (required) and excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Available full-time (36-40 hours per week), part-time negotiable; able to live and work in the Netherlands without visa support; in office/at clients at least twice a week
