Monumental is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team in Amsterdam. You will handle the full-cycle bookkeeping for a company at the forefront of construction automation. This role involves managing supplier invoices, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns.

Wat ga je doen

Code supplier invoices and card spend in Spendesk with correct GL account, VAT code and cost centre
Keep supplier records clean and prepare payment runs
Reconcile bank accounts, payables and receivables
Run month-end close for all entities to a fixed timetable
Maintain fixed-asset register and inventory records
Prepare Dutch VAT returns

Wat je meebrengt

At least three years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
Hands-on Dutch VAT experience
Strong reconciliation skills
Accuracy and ownership of records
Fluent English and professional working Dutch
Comfort with spreadsheets and accounting tools

Mooi meegenomen

Experience with Twinfield, Basecone or Spendesk
Multi-entity or multi-country bookkeeping
Fixed-asset or inventory accounting in hardware or manufacturing
Statutory audit support
Dutch payroll experience in Loket
Accounting qualification such as MBO-4, HBO, SPD or Praktijkdiploma Boekhouden
