Leaseweb is looking for a Cloud Software Engineer to join the Managed Kubernetes team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will design and develop Kubernetes controllers and operators, working with a hybrid model that combines office and remote work.
Wat ga je doen
- Design, develop and maintain Kubernetes controllers and operators in Golang
- Propose innovative solutions to meet product needs
- Research, evaluate and recommend tools or components to improve the product
- Collaborate with Product Owner and agile team to refine backlog and prioritize features
- Improve and maintain platform for high-availability and scalability
- Troubleshoot, reproduce, debug and resolve complex issues; participate in on-call duty
Wat je meebrengt
- Proven knowledge of programming languages, e.g., Golang
- Experience developing and implementing Kubernetes components (Operators, Controllers, CRD, Cluster API)
- Experience with Docker files, Kubernetes manifests, and Helm charts
- Experience with Kubernetes and related projects
- Good knowledge of cloud concepts: networking, storage, virtualization
- Ability to collaborate, perform code reviews, work in scrum team, good communication
Mooi meegenomen
- Experience with large Kubernetes deployments and CNCF tools
- Experience with continuous deployment (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Icinga, Prometheus, Alert Manager, Loki, Grafana)
- Knowledge of Linux and OS internals
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
- Open source contributions or CKA certification
