Workwize is looking for an Engineering Lead to guide the team behind Finance and Internal Tools. In this hybrid role based in Amsterdam, you will combine technical leadership with people management to drive delivery and team growth.

Lead and grow engineers through 1:1s and feedback
Set performance expectations and address issues early
Own delivery of team roadmap and track progress
Plan roadmap and quarterly goals with Product, Operations, Finance
Run planning, refinement, retros, and cross-team talks
Maintain standards for code review, testing, monitoring, security, incidents

Wat je meebrengt

5+ years as software engineer
1-2 years managing engineers with direct reports
Experience handling performance issues
Leadership style adaptable between directing and coaching
Confidence to explain views to senior stakeholders
Hands-on experience with modern web stack (Laravel, Node.js, React, Filament, MySQL)

Mooi meegenomen

Experience in FinTech or with finance/billing systems
Experience with Laravel Filament or admin panel tools
Experience building LLM features or AI agents for internal operations
Scale-up experience in B2B SaaS, logistics, or operations
