Airwallex is looking for an Engineering Lead to guide a team building its payments platform in Amsterdam. You will lead engineers, shape the product roadmap, and develop backend services in a microservices architecture.
Wat ga je doen
- Lead a team of engineers, set goals and development targets
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to define product roadmap and prioritize projects
- Develop REST services and integration components in a backend microservices architecture
- Conduct architectural reviews for current and upcoming solutions
- Address tech debt and enhance operational effectiveness
- Contribute to hiring, training and development of engineers
Wat je meebrengt
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with low latency, distributed systems
- At least one year of team management experience
- Strong computer science fundamentals; experience with Java or Kotlin, Spring/Spring Boot
- Experience with operational tooling such as New Relic, StatsD, Elk, Datadog, Prometheus
Mooi meegenomen
- Experience building a payment gateway, acquiring platform or issuing platform
- Experience integrating Local Payment Methods (i.e. iDeal, Klarna, Trustly or equivalent) or Cards (i.e. Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
