Fastned is seeking a Head of Data & Insights to lead and develop its multidisciplinary data team in Amsterdam. This role involves defining the data vision and strategy, translating business priorities into a focused roadmap, and partnering with stakeholders to strengthen data-driven decision-making.

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary data team covering Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Data Science & AI
Define and maintain a clear vision and strategy for Data & Insights aligned with business strategy
Translate strategic priorities into a focused roadmap and measurable outcomes
Partner with stakeholders to strengthen data culture and support decision-making
Ensure delivery of reliable, accessible, and actionable data products and analyses
Promote high standards for data quality, documentation, and responsible data use

Wat je meebrengt

At least 8 years of people management experience, ideally leading multidisciplinary data teams
Strong background in Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, and Data Science
Experience setting data strategy, creating team roadmaps, and translating business objectives into data outcomes
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, engaging with Director- and Board-level stakeholders
Ability to bring clarity and focus in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
Natural coaching style and genuine interest in helping people grow
