Fastned is a fast-growing company building the largest fast-charging network for electric vehicles in Europe. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will work on their charging platform, shaping the future of e-mobility from their Amsterdam office in a hybrid setup.
Wat ga je doen
- Design, develop, test and review code for charging platform
- Deliver migration from OCPP 1.6 to OCPP 2.x
- Implement Autocharge and Plug & Charge
- Use AI-augmented engineering in daily work
- Oversee technical development from idea to deployment
- Improve engineering practices and mentor team members
Wat je meebrengt
- 7+ years professional backend experience
- Strong hands-on Kotlin or Java
- Experience with microservices in production
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and relational databases
- Proficiency in English
Mooi meegenomen
- Hands-on OCPP 1.6 or 2.x
- Knowledge of e-mobility, MSP or CPO models
- Experience with high-throughput real-time systems
- Experience with mobile app backends
- Experience building with LLMs or agents in production
