Asula is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. You will design and implement backend systems for user-facing applications and protocol components. This role focuses on building scalable and resilient services in the blockchain space.

- Design and implement backend systems for user-facing applications and protocol components
- Architect scalable and resilient services including APIs, stateful services, and blockchain data pipelines
- Drive large-scale architectural improvements and develop best practices
- Mentor team members on architecture and code quality

- 3+ years experience as a systems engineer with production services
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and network architecture
- Fluent in a strongly-typed backend language like Rust, Go, or C++
- Interest in bitcoin, blockchains, and onchain finance
