Planet is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team in Haarlem. You will work on building and maintaining distributed services and APIs while collaborating across teams.

Build and maintain distributed services and APIs in Go, Java, or Python
Collaborate with engineers and product managers across teams
Write high-quality, maintainable, and documented production code
Participate in code reviews
Use AI tooling in development lifecycle
Operate services with Site Reliability Engineering practices

Wat je meebrengt

4+ years of software development in production environment
Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Familiarity with GCP or AWS
Experience with Git, large codebases, and CI/CD pipelines

Mooi meegenomen

Familiarity with geospatial concepts and standards
Familiarity with remotely sensed products
Experience with observability platforms like Grafana
