About the job

Mollie is looking for an Analytics Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will build and maintain dbt data models and work closely with engineering and finance teams to track financial data.

What you will do

Build and maintain dbt data models from raw source to mart tables
Work with engineers to understand money movements and financial processes
Partner with Merchant Finance and Treasury to define and track financial data
Implement data quality validation checks and testing frameworks

What you bring

Strong technical foundation in SQL
Experience with data modelling and automation
Strong level of dbt
Ability to take a helicopter view
Skilled at stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams

Nice to have

Experience in BigQuery, GCP and Airflow
Experience in financial data and financial processes
Experience in fintech or banking
