FairPhone B.V. is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will handle monthly and quarterly closings, reconciliations, and maintain financial records. You will work in a hybrid model, contributing to the financial operations of a company known for its ethical electronics.
What you will do
- Prepare monthly and quarterly closing activities
- Prepare accruals, prepayments, and accounting entries
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions
- Maintain fixed asset records and supporting schedules
- Perform inventory reconciliations and maintain schedules
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in financial accounting or similar role
- Solid understanding of financial accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and structured approach
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience with Odoo ERP
