Bakken & Bæck is an independently-owned studio looking for a Senior Art Director to lead art direction across brand and projects. You will define visual worlds through image-led storytelling and oversee creative processes from concept to final delivery.
What you will do
- Lead art direction across brand and projects from concept to delivery
- Define visual world through image-led storytelling
- Develop image-making principles for mood, casting, styling, lighting, composition, and post-production
- Direct photoshoots, filmed productions, and CGI workflows
- Oversee quality control for retouching, edit, grading, and final delivery
- Collaborate with external partners like 3D artists, illustrators, photographers, filmmakers, and sound designers
What you bring
- 5+ years experience in creative agency, production company, or in-house brand team
- Strong portfolio showing ability to shape ideas with craft and taste, preferably in tech and digital experiences
- Understanding of screen-based brand expressions and storytelling through design and image
- Deep knowledge of creative process across pre-production, on-set, and post-production
- Pragmatic and holistic approach to collaboration
- Inclusive team player who motivates others
Nice to have
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma
- Experience with motion graphics, generative tools, or 3D design
