What you will do
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements
- Advise on payments regulation and compliance
- Build and maintain AML policy and programme
- Support fundraising and corporate governance
- Research legal requirements for new markets
- Manage external counsel in new jurisdictions
What you bring
- In-house legal experience at a payments company or fintech
- Exposure to payments regulation, commercial contracts, or AML
- Ability to draft and negotiate contracts
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a startup environment
- Bias for action and problem-solving
Nice to have
- Experience with EMI/PSD2 frameworks
- Exposure to fundraising or corporate governance
