Hotel Engineer (Maintenance)

About the job

Zoku, a hospitality brand in Amsterdam, is looking for a Maintenance Sidekick to keep its spaces in top shape. You will handle repairs, support preventive maintenance, and collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth daily operations.

What you will do

• Execute internal repairs and manage stock supply
• Respond to maintenance-related inquiries from departments and guests
• Support the preventative maintenance plan
• Troubleshoot and fix issues like equipment, sanitary facilities, lighting, door mechanics, paintwork
• Prioritize tasks based on impact on daily operations
• Collaborate with Operations team and external contractors

What you bring

• First experience in a similar position with provable technical knowledge
• Fluent in English
• EU resident or valid working permit for The Netherlands
• Fully flexible, no fixed working days/hours
• Available full-time for 40 hours/week
• Great communicator and team-player

Nice to have

• Other languages are a plus
