Zoku, a hospitality brand known for its innovative apartment-hotel concept, is looking for a General Manager to lead its Amsterdam location. This role offers the opportunity to own the business's performance while bringing the brand to life through exceptional guest experiences and a strong community.

What you will do

Own the P&L performance, shape budgets and forecasts, manage payroll and operating costs
Create exceptional guest experiences and build a sense of community
Build a strong and stable team, coach and develop employees, own the full P&C cycle
Take care of maintenance and the building, ensure compliance with safety requirements
Build strong partnerships with local partners and external service providers
Bring the Zoku concept to life by translating brand standards into daily practice

What you bring

4+ years in a senior hotel leadership role within a complex hotel operation
Proven track record of improving hotel performance, profitability and team stability
Strong commercial and financial skills including budgeting, forecasting, payroll management, and cost control
Experience developing operational leaders and leading the full P&C cycle
Strong, inspiring leadership style with ability to develop, motivate and elevate teams
Fluent English, Dutch is a huge advantage

Nice to have

Experience within lifestyle hospitality, innovative hospitality concepts, or international environments
Entrepreneurial mindset and treat the business as their own
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership
Build strong communities, relationships, and partnerships
Work confidently with Support Office specialists while taking ownership of local decisions
Challenge the status quo and drive innovation
