Datasnipper is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Billing & Monetization team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will own the technical direction of the customer lifecycle platform and build systems for accurate metering, entitlements, and billing. You will lead a team of engineers, set clear goals, and drive performance while partnering closely with Product, Finance, Sales, and Customer Success.

What you bring

3+ years leading engineering teams
5+ years as a software engineer
Experience building billing, licensing, entitlement, or onboarding systems at scale
Strong fundamentals in software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native development
Experience running production systems where financial correctness matters
Hands-on fluency with AI coding tools and agentic harnesses

Nice to have

Usage-, metered-, or credit-based billing in production
Billing and payment platforms, CRM and ERP integrations
Identity and provisioning experience
Product-led growth experience
Financial correctness experience
Python, Azure, and observability tooling
