Zero Motorcycles Inc. is looking for a Legal Counsel to act as a legal partner on data and privacy for connected products and digital services. The role involves supporting product and engineering teams with privacy-by-design and advising on data compliance, digital terms, and cybersecurity.
What you will do
- Act as legal partner on data and privacy for connected products and digital services
- Support product and engineering teams on privacy-by-design
- Advise on data compliance, digital terms, DPAs, and data-sharing arrangements
- Build and maintain privacy and data governance foundations
- Advise on legal aspects of cybersecurity and product-data security
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities on data protection and cybersecurity matters
What you bring
- Qualified lawyer with approximately 4–7 years relevant experience
- Genuine depth in data and privacy in connected products context
- Ability to build credibility with product and engineering stakeholders
- Interested in operating as a broad in-house lawyer
- Professional fluency in English
Nice to have
- Experience with connected products, technology, or IP
- Prior connected-product or e-mobility experience
- Additional languages
