Foleon, a company based in Amsterdam, is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their team. In this role, you will handle contract negotiations and legal matters for both EMEA and US regions, working closely with customers and internal teams. You will also contribute to product development and maintain contract systems.
What you will do
- Review, redline, and negotiate customer contracts for EMEA and US
- Work directly with customers' legal teams to finalize agreements
- Review vendor and supplier agreements against company policy
- Partner with Head of Legal on vendor contract lifecycle
- Join biweekly syncs with Product team on upcoming features
- Maintain contract management system and train commercial teams
What you bring
- Law degree (Bachelor's or higher)
- At least 2 years of legal experience, ideally international
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements
- Working knowledge of EU law
- Basic knowledge of AI regulation (e.g., EU AI Act)
- Fluent English
Nice to have
- Familiarity with US law
- Tech, IT, or SaaS experience
