About the job
Control Risks is seeking an Operational Analyst to join their talent pool in Amsterdam. In this role, you will monitor security incidents and respond to requests in a fast-paced operations centre.
What you will do
- Monitor security incidents from open source and vendor tools
- Respond to security requests via Slack, email, or phone
- Monitor alarm and CCTV systems and initiate responses
- Conduct real-time open-source monitoring during disruptive events
- Perform data analysis during breaking events to inform security responses
- Log incidents in incident management database
What you bring
- Excellent English and another EMEA language
- Experience in fast-paced operations centre with shift work
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm response, and OSINT
- Strong communication skills for various stakeholders
- 1-3 years in security-related role
- Comfortable with multiple technology platforms like Genetec and Dataminr
Nice to have
- Experience in Security Centre environments
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in international security or crisis management
