About the job
Ore Energy is seeking a Product Development Engineer to focus on Direct Air Capture technology. You will design and develop subsystems for air treatment and gas separation, working on laboratory-scale prototypes in Amsterdam.
What you will do
- Design and develop air-treatment and gas-separation subsystems
- Select and source mechanical components like sorbents and pumps
- Build and test laboratory-scale prototypes
- Execute test campaigns for gas-adsorption and efficiency
- Diagnose technical issues in air handling systems
- Document system architecture and validation outcomes
What you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Practical experience in Direct Air Capture or gas-adsorption
- Strong prototyping and plumbing skills
- Ability to interpret process data and perform calculations
- Self-directed and resourceful in a fast-paced environment
- Professional English communication
Nice to have
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, or automated control systems
