About the job
Ore Energy is seeking a Balance of Plant (BoP) Systems Lead to join their Amsterdam team. In this role, you will define and optimize the architecture of BoP subsystems and integrate hardware components for energy systems.
What you will do
- Define architecture and sizing for BoP subsystems
- Evaluate and integrate hardware components
- Perform trade-off analysis for system performance
- Build and test prototypes in lab
- Develop mass and energy balance models
- Conduct root-cause analysis and validation
What you bring
- 5+ years engineering experience with fluid or thermal systems
- Systems engineering thinking
- Expertise in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
- Hands-on prototyping skills
- Analytical modeling ability
- Fluent English
Nice to have
- Experience in batteries, fuel cells, electrolyzers, DAC, HVAC, or chemical process equipment
