About the job
Ore Energy is looking for a Head of Finance to lead its capital strategy and fundraising efforts in Amsterdam. You will drive equity rounds, structure complex financing, and build relationships with institutional investors and banks.
What you will do
- Develop and execute integrated capital strategy across equity, debt, project finance, public funding, guarantees, and grants
- Lead equity fundraising rounds from investor positioning to closing
- Structure and close corporate, gigafactory, and project-level financing
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, banks, ECAs, DFIs, and infrastructure capital providers
- Own and defend corporate financial model and investment cases before Board, shareholders, and external counterparties
- Translate engineering, manufacturing, and deployment plans into bankable commercial and project financing structures
What you bring
- Proven success raising equity and structuring/closing complex corporate debt, gigafactory, or project finance transactions
- Advanced financial modeling skills to build, stress-test, and defend complex financial assumptions
- Deep understanding of capital markets and institutional due diligence with experience engaging investors, banks, ECAs, DFIs, or infrastructure funds
- Strong negotiation skills and hands-on transaction management capabilities
- Ability to connect engineering, operational, and commercial plans to financing requirements and financial outcomes
