About the job
Join AFS Energy B.V. as a Risk Officer in Amsterdam, where you will support the daily monitoring of market, credit, and operational risks. You will assist the Front Office with trade approvals and credit checks while contributing to risk awareness across departments.
What you will do
- Support daily monitoring of market, credit, and operational risks
- Assist Front Office with trade approvals and credit checks
- Help maintain and improve risk tools and reports
- Perform analyses using Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI
- Contribute to building risk awareness across departments
- Participate in projects to enhance business insights
What you bring
- Degree in Finance, Econometrics, Maths, or similar
- 2 years of experience in risk, finance, financial markets, or energy trading
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Analytical, proactive, hands-on, ethical, and eager to learn
