About the job

Datasnipper is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own and evolve their data infrastructure in Amsterdam. You will drive the event ingestion architecture and build robust data pipelines that power analytics and product experiences.

What you will do

Own event ingestion architecture end to end
Build and operate dbt transformation pipelines
Define and enforce event contracts and schemas
Build reverse ETL and activation paths
Evolve core data models
Build guardrails and tooling for self-service analytics

What you bring

7+ years in data engineering or related role
Deep SQL and strong Python
Production experience with cloud data warehouse and dbt
Experience with event-driven streaming ingestion
Experience with cloud platform infrastructure
Solid data modeling fundamentals

Nice to have

Experience with product analytics tooling
Experience building data products for AI or agent consumption
Experience with Terraform, Docker, and governance
Reverse ETL experience and CRM data models
Exposure to B2B SaaS usage-based pricing or audit/fintech
