About the job

Datasnipper is looking for a Mid-level Backend Engineer to join their IAM team in Amsterdam. You will build and maintain core IAM services and develop scalable, secure backend systems.

What you will do

Build and maintain core IAM services
Develop scalable and secure backend systems
Collaborate with other backend teams
Contribute to improving system reliability and performance
Participate in an on-call rotation

What you bring

3–6 years of backend development experience with OOP languages
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Solid understanding of API development
Experience building scalable systems
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

Exposure to authentication or authorization systems
Familiarity with microservices architecture
Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
Interest in backend security and platform systems
Experience working in platform teams
Experience working in startups or scaleups
