About the job

As a Senior Data Engineer at Adyen, you will design and operate production data pipelines while collaborating with stakeholders. This role is based in Amsterdam and focuses on ensuring data accuracy and performance.

What you will do

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and craft solutions
Design, develop, deploy and operate production ELT pipelines and data architectures
Establish and advocate for best practices in performance, code quality, data validation, governance, and discoverability
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, reliability, relevance, and timeliness through rigorous testing and monitoring
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and systems

What you bring

Over 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
Expert-level understanding of Software and Data Engineering practices
Highly proficient in Python, PySpark, Airflow, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, Git
Skilled at articulating complex data concepts to diverse stakeholders
Capable of independently recognizing opportunities, devising solutions, and leading projects
Experienced in fostering a data-centric culture within large technical organizations
