Senior Legal Counsel - Product & AI (Part-time)

Foleon is looking for a Senior Product & AI Counsel to join their team on a part-time basis. You will guide the company through complex regulatory landscapes, focusing on AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity. This role is ideal for an experienced legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced tech environment.

What you will do

• Act as product counsel in product syncs and feature reviews
• Lead compliance for AI proposition under EU AI Act
• Ensure platform meets European Accessibility Act
• Advise on GDPR questions for new features
• Advise on cybersecurity law including NIS2 and Cyber Resilience Act
• Track regulatory changes and provide practical guidance

What you bring

• Master's in Law or equivalent
• 6+ years of experience, mix of law firm and in-house at tech or SaaS
• Hands-on product counsel experience for software, ideally AI products
• Deep working knowledge of EU AI Act
• Experience with cybersecurity law and digital accessibility rules
• Solid grounding in commercial and corporate law

Nice to have

• GDPR and privacy expertise at DPO level or CIPP/E certification
• Experience working with scale-ups on retainer or fractional basis
• Dutch language skills
