Airwallex is seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel to lead high-stakes enterprise deals across EMEA. This role involves negotiating strategic partnerships, developing scalable legal processes, and advising commercial leadership on go-to-market strategies.

What you will do

Lead negotiations on high-stakes enterprise commercial and strategic partnership deals across EMEA
Develop and implement scalable templates, playbooks, and processes
Advise commercial leadership on go-to-market and multi-product deal strategies
Leverage technology and data to increase efficiency of commercial legal function
Collaborate with global legal, compliance, and risk teams on multi-jurisdictional deals
Contribute positively to team and company culture

What you bring

5-8 years of legal experience with top law firm background
Excellent communication, drafting, negotiation, and writing skills
Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deals
High motivation and ability to operate independently in fast-paced environment
Collaborative mindset, integrity, and sound judgment

Nice to have

In-house experience at a fintech
Experience in fintech, banking, or high-growth global company
Experience drafting and negotiating technology transactions and SaaS agreements
French, German, or Spanish language skills
