About the job

Together AI is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Infra Agent Systems team, where you will design and build production AI agent systems that diagnose and remediate infrastructure issues. You will own services end to end, from architecture to production operations, and develop fleet intelligence systems that combine telemetry with operational knowledge.

What you will do

Design and build production AI agent systems for diagnosing and remediating infrastructure issues
Build distributed services, orchestration framework, knowledge graph, and retrieval systems
Develop fleet intelligence systems combining telemetry and operational knowledge
Integrate with observability, incident management, and internal systems via APIs
Own services end to end including architecture, implementation, and production operations
Improve agent performance through evaluations and production feedback loops

What you bring

5+ years building production backend, distributed systems, or infrastructure platforms
Strong systems design skills and ownership of significant systems
Depth in AI agent systems, knowledge graphs, or search/retrieval systems
Strong backend engineering including API design and data modeling
Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud platforms
Comfortable with Go, TypeScript, Python, or Rust

Nice to have

GPU infrastructure, datacenters, bare-metal systems, or cluster schedulers
Graph databases
Event-driven systems and messaging platforms like NATS or Kafka
Observability platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
Building evaluation frameworks for LLM-powered systems
