AIG is looking for a Business Development Underwriter to join its Portfolio Solutions Financial Lines team in Capelle aan den IJssel. In this role, you will develop new portfolio arrangements and optimize existing ones while building strong broker relationships. You will contribute to growth targets and help expand the company's presence in the Dutch market.
What you will do
- Develop new Financial Lines portfolio arrangements and optimize existing ones
- Build relationships with brokers and authorized agents
- Generate new business by expanding broker network and attending events
- Contribute to Portfolio Solutions growth target and provide monthly management information
- Identify and develop best practices and procedures
- Assess new and renewal business for focus area
What you bring
- Minimum 3 years underwriting experience in Financial Lines
- Good understanding of Dutch Financial Lines marketplace
- Good understanding of authorized agents marketplace
- Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Customer and sales oriented behaviors
