About the job

Fiducial is looking for a Software Generalist to join their team in Delft. In this role, you will build internal tools, dashboards, frameworks, and performance-critical software using Python, Rust, C++, and web technologies.

What you will do

  • Build internal tools and shared libraries
  • Develop flight operations dashboard with Python and web
  • Create Rust deployment tool for edge devices
  • Build high-performance C++ camera-interfacing library
  • Develop data annotation software
  • Create product-metric CI dashboards

What you bring

  • Own outcomes and talk to users
  • Orient fast in unfamiliar territory
  • Architect for use and change
  • Language-agnostic with experience in Python, Rust, C++, or web stacks
  • Strong systems and performance instinct
  • Full-time availability

Nice to have

  • Background in graphics, game dev, or real-time systems
  • Networking depth
  • Rust or modern C++ in production
  • Experience owning internal tooling or developer-experience work
  • Comfort with hardware-in-the-loop or field-deployed systems
  • Built in-house version of something usually bought
