About the job

MAT Research is looking for a Logistics & Maintenance Manager to join their team in Leiden. In this part-time role, you will ensure smooth operations by managing cold-chain shipments, inventory, and facility upkeep.

What you will do

Manage cold-chain shipments and customs compliance
Oversee inventory and storage of lab supplies
Manage liquid nitrogen infrastructure and safety
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs
Manage vendor relationships and service agreements
Oversee office and facility upkeep

What you bring

Background in life sciences, biotech, supply chain, or facility management
Understanding of biosafety and handling temperature-sensitive materials
Experience with cold-chain logistics and hazardous shipping
Track record in supplier management and facility maintenance
Curious, analytical, and collaborative
Comfortable taking ownership and solving problems
