About the job

MAT Research is looking for an Automation Scientist to lead automation initiatives in immunology R&D and manufacturing. You will manage the design, integration, and maintenance of the AutoMATR system, develop and optimize automation assays, and troubleshoot robotics at client sites.

What you will do

Formulate and implement automation strategies
Lead automation in R&D and manufacturing
Manage AutoMATR system design, integration, and maintenance
Develop and optimize automation assays including ELISA
Troubleshoot robotics at client sites
Conduct training on laboratory automation

What you bring

Master's degree and 2+ years post-graduate experience in Robotics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Automation, Biophysics, or related field
Solid background in Immunology, Engineering, Automated Sciences, Computer Science, Biology, or Chemistry
Hands-on experience in assay development and execution
Expert-level skills in data analysis software and quality management systems
Proficient in programming (R, Python) and script writing
Fluent in English

Nice to have

Proficiency in Dutch, German, or French
Experience in GMP/GLP or ISO 9001 environment
Hands-on experience in PBMC isolations, cellular assays, and analytical assays (ELISA, Flow Cytometry)
