Innatera is looking for a Senior NPU SDK Software Engineer to join their team in Rijswijk. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of SDK features and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Digital Design, Firmware, and Applications. You will also support internal teams and customers with SDK usage.

What you will do

Manage full lifecycle of SDK features in one component
Set and uphold code quality, maintainability, testing, and release standards
Conduct code reviews and improve engineering practices
Collaborate with Digital Design, Firmware, and Applications teams
Support internal teams and customers with SDK usage
Improve power consumption, latency, and performance bottlenecks

What you bring

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Strong Python development skills
Extensive experience with PyTorch and its customization
Proven track record in modular, maintainable, testable software architecture
Experience in low-power resource-constrained embedded programming
Familiarity with hardware/software co-design concepts

Nice to have

Modern C++ development skills (C++17/20)
Exposure to bare-metal firmware development
Solid understanding of computer architecture (ARM or RISC-V)
Familiarity with ML compilers like MLIR, IREE, or PyTorch compiler
Familiarity with TinyML or EdgeAI runtimes
Knowledge of Spiking Neural Networks
