Innatera is looking for a Senior SDK Hardware Simulator Engineer to join their team in Rijswijk. In this role, you will design and implement simulation models for neuromorphic processors and SoC components, bridging hardware specifications with high-performance software.

What you will do

Design and implement simulation models in modern C++ for neuromorphic processors and SoC components
Convert hardware specs into high-performance software models
Contribute to performance modeling of power and latency
Support early application development with hardware simulation tools
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure model accuracy
Take ownership of simulation infrastructure quality through testing and code review

What you bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, EE, or related field
Strong C++ development skills including C++17/20
Proven track record in modular, maintainable software architecture
Experience in transaction-level modeling of hardware
Solid understanding of digital hardware fundamentals
Working knowledge of Python

Nice to have

Experience with RTL simulations and waveforms
Experience in low-power embedded programming
Exposure to bare-metal firmware development and assembly
Familiarity with RISC-V or ARM architectures
Knowledge of machine learning, edge AI, and SNN
