About the job
All Your BI is looking for a Data Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will build and maintain end-to-end pipelines in the Azure stack, developing data warehouse layers from raw staging through Data Vault and Business Vault into dimensional Data Marts. This role also involves delivering in Power BI by building datasets and reports.
What you will do
- Build and maintain end-to-end pipelines in Azure stack
- Develop data warehouse layers from raw staging through Data Vault and Business Vault into dimensional Data Mart
- Write and optimize stored procedures for transformation and loading
- Model data correctly in vault and mart
- Investigate and understand source systems
- Deliver in Power BI building datasets and reports
What you bring
- ~5+ years hands-on experience in data engineering and database development
- Real relational-database depth: model in 3NF, read execution plan, tune slow query, work in Data Vault layer
- Excellent T-SQL: especially stored procedures for transformation and loading
- Hands-on Azure data engineering: built end-to-end pipelines with ADF, Data Lake Gen2 and Azure SQL
- Build in Power BI: datasets, relationships, DAX, reports
- Reliability habit: data quality validated and monitored, Git as default, confidence to trace and fix broken pipelines
Nice to have
- Experience with Data Vault 2.0 specifically
- Knowledge in Python
- Exposure to semantic-layer tool such as Dremio
- Background in operational, logistics, or industrial domains
