Lionsville is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team in Den Haag. You will own the path from operational systems into platforms that people act on, building pipelines and ensuring data quality. This hybrid role requires living in the Randstad and occasional travel to customer sites.

What you will do

  • Own the path from operational systems into platforms people act on
  • Write first data contracts against real payloads
  • Build extraction, transformation, and orchestration pipelines
  • Work across batch and streaming, SQL and NoSQL, warehouses and lakes
  • Make quality a first-class feature with checks and monitoring
  • Assess data volume, throughput, completeness, and gaps

What you bring

  • Ownership, bias to solutions, clear communication
  • Strong architecture capability for data platforms
  • Deep data engineering with ETL, ELT, orchestration, SQL, streaming and batch
  • Experience working agentically with AI
  • Complex data-model design across SQL and NoSQL with data contracts and schema versioning
  • Living in the Randstad and comfortable with occasional travel to customer sites
