About the job

AIHR is looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer to own the data and analytics roadmap in a hybrid role based in Rotterdam. You will lead discovery across departments and build governed models using SQL and dbt.

What you will do

  • Own and execute a rolling one-year Data & Analytics roadmap
  • Lead discovery across departments to translate business questions into metric definitions and semantic layers
  • Design, build, test, and document critical governed models using SQL and dbt
  • Own full-funnel measurement framework from marketing to customer lifetime value
  • Own logic and quality behind executive dashboards and self-service analytics
  • Partner with data engineer on warehouse and pipeline requirements

What you bring

  • 5+ years experience in analytics engineering, BI, data engineering, or business-facing analytics
  • Proven track record building semantic layers or governed dimensional models end-to-end
  • Expert SQL and data modeling skills, strong production experience with dbt
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or comparable warehouse and a BI tool like Power BI, Looker, Omni, or Metabase
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical experience across full customer lifecycle
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, subscription, fintech, or marketplace business modeling multiple funnel stages

Nice to have

  • Experience in RevOps, Growth, FP&A, product analytics, or commercial analytics in a fast-growing scale-up
  • Experience with HubSpot, marketing automation, subscription or billing data, LMS, Personio, or building semantic layers for AI-enabled analytics
