About the job

Sia is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in Rotterdam. In this role, you will lead internal AI product development and work on client projects as a subject expert.

What you will do

Lead internal team developing AI products
Work on client projects as subject expert
Make architectural and design decisions for cloud environments
Build production-level ML/AI solutions
Guide Data Scientists to scale models into production
Give trainings, lead internal meetings, organize external events

What you bring

MSc in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, AI, or related field
2-4 years experience building production-quality ML/Deep Learning pipelines
Good understanding of ML fundamentals and strong domain knowledge
Expert coding in Python and at least one of Scala, C++, Java
Hands-on with database management languages
Hands-on with cloud-based infrastructures

Nice to have

Experience with coaching/mentoring engineers
Prior experience in Management Consulting
German language fluency
