About the job

EVERIENCE is looking for a Senior IT Software Quality Engineer to join their team in Rotterdam. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the quality of data and ETL workflows through comprehensive testing and validation.

What you will do

Perform end-to-end testing of ETL and data workflows
Validate extraction, transformation and loading processes
Perform data reconciliation and cross-system validation
Develop test scenarios, test cases and test strategies
Use advanced SQL for data validation and root cause analysis
Contribute to test automation with Python, PySpark and Pandas

What you bring

Several years as Software Quality Engineer, Data QA Engineer or similar
Demonstrable experience with ETL Testing or Big Data Testing
Strong experience with manual testing
Experience with BI and reporting validation
Advanced knowledge of SQL
Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Pandas, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Gen2 and Postman

Nice to have

Experience with or strong interest in AI-driven testing and intelligent test automation
