Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. is looking for a Field Process Engineer I to join their team in a hybrid work setting. This role involves troubleshooting customer process issues and developing solutions for semiconductor wafer processing.
What you will do
- Complete assigned tasks and develop customer relations
- Troubleshoot customer process issues
- Perform hands-on RIE/dry etch process troubleshooting and development
- Use analytical tools to solve process implementation issues
- Operate Hitachi plasma etch systems and metrology equipment
- Generate internal and external documentation
What you bring
- BS Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering Physics, or equivalent
- 0-2 years Plasma Etch Process Experience or semiconductor processing preferred
- Data analysis and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor wafer processing
- Fundamental understanding of Dry Etch / RIE
- Ability to work in a clean room environment
Nice to have
- Experience with Spotfire and Python
- Project planning and leadership skills
