About the job

Clera is looking for a Product Engineer to join their remote team. You will work on improving platform and marketplace experiences for creators and researchers. This role focuses on reducing user friction and making complex data easier to understand.

What you will do

Partner with cross-functional teams to identify user friction and prioritize improvements
Speak directly with creators and research teams about reinforcement learning environments
Design, prototype, and ship platform and marketplace improvements
Build frontend and backend features for onboarding, submissions, review, and discovery
Make agent runs, evaluation results, and feedback easier to understand
Use user feedback and product data to refine experiences and inform tradeoffs

What you bring

Experience shipping software products end-to-end
Full-stack web application experience
Strong product judgment
Experience interviewing users and applying feedback
Interaction design skills
Background in developer tools, data-rich products, marketplaces, or similar

Nice to have

Familiarity with AI agents, evaluations, reinforcement learning, or related workflows
Clear communication and cross-functional experience
