About the job

Duna is looking for a Senior or Staff Platform Engineer to own and evolve their cloud platform, which includes AWS, Kubernetes, networking, Terraform, CI/CD, and observability. In this role, you will shape how engineers build and ship software, lead incidents calmly, and turn manual work into automation.

What you will do

  • Own and evolve cloud platform including AWS, Kubernetes, networking, Terraform, CI/CD, and observability
  • Shape how engineers build and ship from local setups to deploys
  • Lead incidents calmly, find root cause, and ensure fix holds
  • Turn recurring manual work into automation and self-service tools
  • Help run AI agents in engineering safely with sandboxes and guardrails

What you bring

  • Senior experience as platform, DevOps, site reliability, infrastructure, or cloud engineer
  • Depth in cloud infrastructure including Kubernetes, networking, and infrastructure as code in production
  • Experience at a startup or scale-up owning problems from start to finish
  • Confidence to make calls, explain clearly, and push back when something looks wrong
  • Curiosity across clouds and tools

Nice to have

  • Experience improving developer experience
  • Interest in security or observability
  • Experience in regulated environments such as fintech, payments, or identity
