About the job

ViCentra B.V. is looking for a Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement and optimize manufacturing processes. This hybrid role in Utrecht offers the chance to lead impactful initiatives in a high-volume production environment.

What you will do

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives including root cause analysis and Lean/Six Sigma projects
  • Design, develop, optimize, and qualify manufacturing processes, methods, and equipment
  • Support development and qualification of tools, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation such as work instructions and process specifications
  • Plan and execute validation activities for regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Engineering, Operations, and R&D teams

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Strong project management skills with track record of delivering manufacturing projects
  • Experience with ISO 13485 and/or GMP environments
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in manufacturing data and statistics
  • Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in relevant field
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing, automation, and equipment lifecycle management
  • Proficiency with Minitab and MS Project
