Catawiki is looking for a Senior Director to lead its People Operations and Facilities teams across the Netherlands and Portugal. This role defines the strategic roadmap for people operations, payroll, well-being, and workplace experience in a fast-growing international environment.

Define strategic roadmap for People Operations, payroll, well-being and facilities
Lead and develop People Operations, payroll and facilities teams
Strengthen people operations across employee lifecycle using automation and AI
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, payroll, tax, audit and ESG requirements
Oversee employee relations, well-being and absence management
Own facilities and workplace experience strategy for Amsterdam and Lisbon offices

Wat je meebrengt

12+ years experience in international, fast-growing organisation
Deep expertise in People Operations and experience in Reward, Employee Relations, well-being or Facilities
Experience leading multi-country People Operations at scale including payroll, benefits, compensation operations, compliance and process improvement
Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations in Netherlands and other European countries
Experience with reward and benefits programmes inside and outside Netherlands including role and salary benchmarking
Professional fluency in English; Dutch is a strong plus
